Sat 9 May, 10:00–12:00 — Fix Your Bike at the Bike Workshop!
Tampere Region Cyclists (Tampereen seudun polkupyöräilijät ry) is hosting a Fix Your Bike day in honour of the national Cycling Week on Saturday 9 May 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Bike Workshop, Sarvijaakonkatu 28. The event introduces the Bike Workshop, and participants can also carry out DIY maintenance on their bikes. The event is free of charge and open to everyone.

Sun 10 May, 14:00–16:00 — Cycling Week Art Workshop
Welcome to the Cycling Week art workshop on Sunday 10 May 2026 from 14:00 to 16:00 at Galleria Ronga. The national theme for Cycling Week 2026 is art.
Come and create your own cycling dream — whether it’s your dream bicycle, a summer bike trip, your favourite landscape from the saddle, or any other cycling‑related vision. Paper and drawing materials are provided; just bring yourself and your ideas. Your bike will be safely stored in a supervised bike park during the workshop. The event is free and open to all. Organised by Galleria Ronga.

Mon 11 May, 18:00–19:00 — Comic Artist Tiitu Takalo’s Talk at Cycling Week
In honour of the national Cycling Week, Tampere Region Cyclists (Tampereen seudun polkupyöräilijät ry) is hosting a talk by comic artist Tiitu Takalo on Monday 19 May 2026 from 18:00 to 19:00 at Galleria Saskia, Pirkankatu 6. Takalo will discuss the background of her work Polkimilla.
The talk is part of the association’s annual meeting, but everyone is warmly welcome to attend. Free entry.

Tue 12 May, 7:00–9:00 — Breakfast for Cyclists
The City of Tampere and Tampere Region Cyclists are offering free breakfast during national Cycling Week on Tuesday 12 May 2026 from 7:00 to 9:00. Breakfast will be available for cyclists in front of Galleria Ronga, Rongankatu 1.

Tue 12 May, 16:30–18:00 — Art Bike Tour
The national theme for Cycling Week 2026 is art. Tampere Region Cyclists and the City of Tampere’s Mobility Mindshift project are organising a free, open‑to‑all Art Bike Tour on Tuesday 12 May 2026 from 16:30 to 18:00. The group meets and departs from the fountain at Tampere Central Square (Keskustori). The tour lasts 1.5 hours and ends in Hiedanranta. No advance registration required.
The Art Bike Tour introduces participants to Tampere’s public art, especially the graffiti of Hiedanranta. A bicycle and helmet are required. A water bottle is also recommended. The tour leaders will begin with safety instructions for group cycling. The tour is suitable for cyclists of all levels, and the pace will be adjusted so everyone can keep up. The tour will be held in both Finnish and English.
