Every weekend in September, Kortejärvi Farm hosts hiking and nature-themed activities. The farm is located along the Kintulammi hiking trails and visitors are welcome to stop by for a short visit or stay longer. All events are open to everyone. The café and sauna require a fee, while most of the other activities are free of charge. Please bring cash with you.
Separate sauna sessions are available for women and men. The wood-heated traditional sauna, known for its gentle and relaxing steam, accommodates 8 to 10 people at a time. The exact origins of the sauna are unknown, but it was most likely built around the turn of the 20th century. Between sauna sessions, visitors can cool off with a refreshing dip in Lake Kortejärvi.

The atmospheric Kortejärvi Farm has a history spanning more than a century. Located within the Kintulammi hiking and nature reserve, the farm may originally have served as a forest ranger’s cottage before later becoming a working farm. Traces of its past use can still be seen in the surrounding landscape. Visitors can easily imagine what life was like deep in the forest, connected to other settlements only by a footpath.
