Objective: By the end of September 2025, three joint EU Horizon projects will have been submitted.

- Biogas, plastic pyrolysis (i.e., converting plastic back into oil), electric battery storage, biogas production
- Sustainable urban planning with district heating including virtual power plants.
- Resident engagement in energy.
- Sustainable energy systems, decentralized energy production, and hybrid solutions, energy communities, data and simulation, smart control systems, metaverse, flexible energy solutions.
- Sustainable regional planning with the requirements of sustainable energy systems taken into account.
- Nature as a silent partner: Ensuring biodiversity in energy.
- Non-combustion-based energy systems.
With Whom: Especially strengthening Nordic cooperation through action and partnering with other European actors.
Who is being sought: The best universities, expertise, sustainability leader municipalities, and pioneering companies.
Approach: Focusing on the quality of work. The work process will be reviewed with committed actors.
